St. Armands Circle is a great place to start. There are many fine restaurants around the Circle so a late afternoon shopping tour could be capped off with dinner followed by another trip around to Circle to one of the many Ice Cream Parlors.

Main Street and Palm Avenue in Sarasota offer many fine Shops and Art Galleries. Palm Avenue hosts a monthly Art Walk on the First Friday of each month. Browse the fine art galleries, jewelers, and restaurants of Palm Avenue while enjoying dancing, live music, and refreshments.  A mainstay in Sarasota for many years, monthly special events make this a must-do.

Westfield Southgate just South of downtown Sarasota on the Tamiami Trail (Rt. 41) has recently been renovated to include many high end shops.

Sarasota Square Mall was purchased and renovated by Westfield Malls a few years ago and offers over 140 Stores and Shops. It is at the South end of Sarasota just above Osprey on Rt. 41.

Downtown Venice offers a multitude of shops which cater to every level of affluence.
