Siesta Key is much more informal and has an "old florida" atmosphere. It also has Siesta Key Beach which has been rated as one of the top beaches in the World. It's white powdery sand is made of quartz which is cool under foot even in the height of Summer. Siesta Key Village is perfect for younger people and has a small collection of hang outs for our small college spring break crowd. The restaurants are very informal and reasonably priced.
